For: Headteachers and Senior Managers in schools & academies responsible for approving educational visits. Nominated EVCs within establishments who carry out approvals on behalf of Heads and Senior Managers. Specifically the course covers: - o Purpose and value of educational visits o Legal framework, roles and responsibilities o Planning a visit o Risk Management - a sensible approach o What the EVC needs to know and do o Competency of leaders o National and Local Authority guidance and procedures o Scenarios o Emergency procedures
